Our
feature car is the TTR (Twelve Touring Racer) This car
regained popularity in 2009 and is steadily growing in the
US. Very common in China where there was a world
championship held last year. The US manufacturers have
not embraced this car yet but it is surely coming.
Right now the only US manufacturer that supports this car
size is HPI. It is sold as the "HPI Cup Car.
If your into full 10th. scale sedan racing and the precision
that comes along with it, the TTR is a great alternative for
smaller tracks. It is basically a 10th. scale touring
car in a 12th. scale package. Belt driven with a front
spool and super smooth rear differential. Don't leave out
the carbon fiber because the car is loaded with it.

We
have tested three cars and have had good luck with all of
them. The Atomic VMII shown above is a solid car and
the winner of the 2009 M-Chassis (TTR) World Championship.

The
Fujin 211GO is our most popular car so far. Just as
competitive as its rivals, the Fujin car offers up the
entire bag of tricks right out of the box. This kit
comes with all of the aluminum, carbon fiber all right out
of the kit box.

| HPI
offers up the "Cup Car". Like the Atomic and Fujin,
The Cup Car falls right in the TTR class. It's drive
train and suspension geometry are different from the others.
The Cup Car places the front shocks on top of the front
suspension and is also shaft driven as opposed to belt drive
like the competition. On the track this car performs
very well and with parts readily available in the US, it
could be a good choice.
Which ever car you choose, you
can be sure to have lots of fun racing it. All of the
quality and precision of more expensive 10th scale sedans is
in these cars at a fraction of the price. The
electronics are all 10th scale size. Brows the rest of
our site for more information on these cars and our racing
program that features them. |
